The 3D effects module is the most powerful and innovative module of the application. In order to generate a 3D effect, a Photoshop PSD file made of layers of three types is entered:

- The normal layers represent objects of a scene located on different depth planes.
- The sequence layers are used to add flip or animation effects.
- The volume layers provide volumetric effects that are impossible to achieve with other techniques.
After the PSD file has been loaded into the 3D module, the quantity and quality of the 3D effect are adjusted by using the controls for the depth of field, focus plane and relative position for each layer. In this way, a new image is generated, which, once seen through the lenticular plastic, provides a 3D effect without the need for stereoscopic glasses.
