Lenticular Effects Virtua 3D

This module is easily the most innovative and powerful of the Lenticular Effects 4.1 modules. The input file is a Photoshop PSD file where three types of layers can be distinguished:

  • The normal layers establish the different depth planes of the objects. They are arranged in order from background to foreground.
  • The sequence layers serve to automatically add Flip or Animation effects to the 3D scene.
  • The volume layers are used to achieve volumetric effects (e. g. spherical, planes in perspective, etc) which would be impossible to achieve any other way by only using normal layers.

All the depth parameters of each of the layers can be modified completely freely. The depth effect is controlled by two variables:

  • The displacement parameter controls the dramatism of the 3D effect.
  • The centre parameter indicates the focus plane. The level of depth selected by this parameter remains focused in the 3D animation generated and normally shows the best visual appearance in the final lenticular work. The centre can be a personalised value or can be associated with the depth of a layer.
