PathOptimizer is a specialist mask-to-path converter, while MaskWarrior is a full mask generation software which also has the option of returning paths. What, then, is the difference between PathOptimizer and MaskWarrior paths?

The difference between the two programmes is that MaskWarrior does not optimize paths while PathOptimizer does. This means that the PathOptimizer paths require more than 100 times fewer vertices to define the same figure, which is a huge advantage if you want to work with paths for export.
